Key job responsibilities :

  • Manage the lifecycle of a complex cross-functional program with considerable impact.
  • Accountable for the overall strategy as well as driving teams inside and outside your organization to deliver.
  • Understand the systems in your product or program space, their limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and reasons behind architectural decisions.
  • Ensure business and technical stakeholder needs are aligned, you drive mindful discussions that lead to crisp decisions.
  • Make smart trade-offs (e.g., time vs. effort vs. features).
  • Partner with customers and engineering teams to determine which projects move forward and in what priority order.
  • Use your knowledge to assess development processes, test plans, and operations / maintenance requirements.
  • Streamline and / or eliminate excess process.
  • Influence teams to decouple from dependencies and eliminate architecture problems that stifle innovation or cause user dissatisfaction, development collisions, and / or outages.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
  • Experience defining KPI's / SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience owning / driving roadmap strategy and definition.
