We are looking for a Principal Security Technical Program Manager to lead the vision and execution for detecting attacks on Azure.

This person should have a deep understanding of what it means to run a large-scale, operational organization supporting millions of customers, and the accountability that comes with it.

This team will balance the fast-paced demand of on-call responsibilities and constant adjustment to adversaries with product innovation, team collaboration, and work life balance.

A successful leader in this role balances these competing demands while fostering cross-organizational collaboration to build and deliver on the strategic vision for defending Azure.

Qualifications

Required / Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product / technical program management, data analysis, or product development

o OR equivalent experience.

3+ years experience managing cross-functional and / or cross-team projects.

5+ years combined experience in program management and security foundational knowledge of both data science and working in an adversarial space.

4+ years of experience in shipping and supporting large-scale data science or threat research products, features, or content.

Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and / or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings : This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire / transfer and every two years thereafter.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategy alignment and impact through collaborative work across organizational boundaries.
  • Demonstrated ability to positively influence organizational culture and attract and retain great people.

Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year.

There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.
