AI Architect / Principal Engineer

Position Overview :

The AI Architect / Principal Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing AI and machine learning systems that solve complex problems and create value for our clients.

This role requires a deep understanding of AI technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• AI Solutions Architect : Design and architect scalable and efficient AI systems, including machine learning models, neural networks, and data processing pipelines.
• Data Management : Oversee the collection, preprocessing, and management of large, distributed datasets as input for AI models.
• Model Development : Build, train, and evaluate advanced machine learning models using a variety of algorithms and techniques.
• Software Development : 3+ years of software engineering experience, with strong skills in scripting (e.g., Python) and high-performance programming (e.

g., C++). Experience coding in alternatives architectures (e.g., GPUs, FPGAs).

• Performance Optimization : Fine-tune models and algorithms to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. Monitor and address issues related to performance and model drift.
• Research and Innovation : Stay updated with the latest AI research and technologies. Identify opportunities for integrating innovative solutions into our products and services.
• Compliance and Ethics : Ensure that AI systems are designed and implemented in accordance with ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications :

• Education : Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience : 5+ years of experience in AI / ML engineering with a strong portfolio of successful projects.

Skills :

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, C++.
• Proficiency in AI / ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, YOLO, OpenCV, autoencoders & Scikit-learn).
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, neural networks (supervised and semi / un-supervised learning techniques) and statistical methods.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex datasets.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Lead a team of AI software engineers.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with deep learning techniques and architectures (e.g., CNNs, RNNs, Transformers), NLP is a plus.
• Knowledge of AI ethics and responsible AI practices, with strong emphasis on XAI tool development.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for deploying and monitoring AI models.
