This opportunity is not technical by any means. They are looking for someone entry level that is reliable, has a strong work ethic, and wants to learn OSP / fiber.
This candidate will be working with a Lead Tech during the training period. The training period is 8 weeks unless he or she can get through training sooner.
It is all depending on the individual. They will be considered a "ground man" and will be handing off tools to the lead, climbing ladders daily so he / she cannot be afraid of heights, and making sure trucks have all of tools and equipment.
Since this position will be working outside, this person MUST be okay with harsh weather conditions.
This individual will need to be someone who is looking to start a career in the OSP / fiber industry and is looking for a long term opportunity.
TEKsystems is looking for someone who believes in culture in the work place. Culture is most important to them and they believe the skills needed can be taught, but attitude and effort cannot.
MUST BE 21+ due to driving company vehicles after 8 weeks
