The dynamic and meticulous Marketing specialist will play a vital role within the marketing team and work closely with the Engagement Marketing Manager to help in coordinating marketing activities including social media management, email marketing, event planning, public and media relations, product marketing launches and campaign development for the Professional Tool brands RIDGID and Greenlee.
As industry leaders, both the RIDGID and Greenlee brands have a rich history of developing and effectively launching award-winning and industry-changing products and solutions.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :
Proficient at understanding content, conceptualizing, planning, and completing marketing strategies through important tactics will be an integral part of the ideal candidate's abilities.
The Marketing Specialist will be part of a dynamic global environment, working closely with Product Management teams. Collaboration and relationship building with outside agency partners and internal teams is critical to the role.
They will be encouraged to assist in completing a validated commercialization process, providing oversight, ownership, and accountability for key breakthroughs and timing.
Ideal candidates will understand the metrics and marketing tools that are needed to support product communications across a variety of media and will have the skills needed to complete defined communications plans.
A background in marketing, social media or public relations is crucial.
Specific responsibilities will include :
- Develop an effective social media strategy for the our brands that emphasizes achieving desired outcomes.
- Organize and lead initiatives to boost brand awareness, engagement, including execution of influencer partnerships / strategies
- Stay up to date with digital technology trends and social media platforms, recommending changes and innovations to ensure we are on the forefront of digital media opportunities
- Ensure social integration with other marketing efforts, such as events, media campaigns, email campaigns and product launches.
- Think creatively on new ways to build the brands as well as ways to integrate campaigns across all customer touchpoints.
- Help establish relationships across networks, including with internal partners, customers, influencers, and media / editors
- Collaborate with agency partners to draft and edit press releases, ensuring alignment with brand messaging
- Be responsible for the submissions of articles and editorial content to media outlets
- Assist with the coordination of on-site and off-site events such as trade shows, media tours, industry / influencer events and other experiences to assemble or drum up content to be used for social media amplification, community building, and brand awareness.
- Assist in the development of new strategies aimed at increasing engagement, fostering community and maintaining positive brand sentiment.
- Understand the brands' purposes and positioning to help formulate how it is communicated through content for web campaigns, emails, channel partner sites, shows, and other mediums.
- Internal coordination with product management teams to assist with product launch and commercialization strategies.
- Review content results and making recommendations on best-performing content.
- Support day-to-day administration tasks and other tasks as assigned.

For This Role, You Will Need :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in marketing, social media or public relations
- Proficient at prioritizing and leading multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of social media communication styles and tools
- Team-oriented approach
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart :
- Experience with brands passionate about trades or marketing communication experience with manufacturing products such as tools.
- Cross-functional awareness- ability to understand all groups (internal or external) involved or impacted by marketing efforts, and coordinate / connect with them regarding marketing efforts or campaigns.
- Track record for problem solving, to get projects done on time without sacrificing quality, impact or brand voice.
