Position Description : Leads, directs and coordinates the day-to-day management of the project.
Reports to : Senior Project Manager or Project Executive
Essential Duties & Responsibilities* :
- Assist Preconstruction or Project Executive with Project Launch Meetings with Launch Matrix for stakeholder buy-in and successful commencement.
- Lead Document Control Processes through Pre-Construction, Buy-Out, Closeout, including Drawings, Specifications, Financials, Closeout, Permitting & Inspection, etc.
Fill 'Project Historian' role.
- Through careful examination of Project Scope / Contract Soliciting, gaining approval, & awarding subcontracts in accordance with Prime Contract / GMP / As & Cs / Schedule, developing associated SOW mitigating Scope Gaps
- Develop, coach and mentor project team on implementing comprehensive EHS&S Plan (Building , White Boards, and all associated functions).
- Accurately manage Project Budget development, build-out, & maintenance throughout project life cycle, including all functions : policy & procedure compliance, GR / GC, Change Management, Audit / Reconciliation, Entitlements / Cost-Basis, Indicated Outcome of Earnings, Profit Plan, @Risk, etc.
- Manage Payment application processes including APs / ARs , Cashflow, & associated forecasts.
- Maintaining, improving, or mitigating impacts to Work In Place volatility, properly forecasting & supporting Earnings Recognition.
- Working or Expert knowledge in Turner Related IT / Software / Reporting : SAP / T4 / CAB, Procore, Textura, CCIP Wrap Portal, Concur, P6, Timesheets, various BIM Tools (Navis, BIM360, etc.)
- Assist Field Operations / implementation of Last Planner System (LPS), set up pull plan sessions, make-ready planning and constraint logs, maintain weekly work plan and Percent Plan Complete (PPC), and support variance tracking counter measures.
- Create, update, and report on CIL, ROJ, Long Lead Matrix coordinated with P6 scheduled dates. Early communication of impacts to P6 CPM Schedule, developing associated recovery schedules with Field Operations.
- Constructability Reviews for coordination, milestones, estimates, working with Field Operation Lead.
- Develop, coach and mentor project team on implementing comprehensive Quality Control (QC) Plan as Risk Mitigation and assisting smooth Closeout.
- Manage all Trade Partner & Turner Project Closeout functions, timely per Contract / Specifications / Protocol, finalizing Contract Values, Payments, and Earnings Recognition.
- Engage Project Team for full engagement with trade partners, Architect / Engineer (A / E) team and client through own actions of accountability and collaborations.
- Develop teams & individual staff in order to promote value and mitigate situations for project benefit.
Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum of ten years related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and / or experience.
Thorough knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles and techniques, as well as accounting principles.
Proven written and verbal communication abilities, proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
Must have advanced presentation skills. Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedule.
Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
