Position Details :
Medical Lab Scientist / Medical Technician- Glenwood Springs, CO
Location : Glenwood Springs, CO 81601
Project Duration : 3+ Months (Contract)
Shift Information : 7 on and 7 off night shift position working 10 : 30am - 9pm or 5 - 8-hour shifts working M-F 12pm - 8 : 30pm.
Pay rate : $47 / hr.
Job Description :
Valley View has an exciting opportunity for a traveler Medical Lab Scientist (Technologist) / Technician in our Laboratory! As the Medical Lab Scientist (Technologist) / Technician you will receive or collects specimens for testing;
performs chemical, microscopic, bacteriologic and other medical laboratory tests and examinations; operates manual and automated lab equipment for analysis of specimens.
Great schedule! This is a Night shift position, 7 on and 7 off! 1- : 30am - 9 : 00pm 10-hour shifts or work 5 - 8-hour shifts Monday - Friday 12 : 00pm - 8 : 30am.
Both Medical Lab Scientist (Technologist) (ASCP) and Medical Technicians (ASCP) are being considered for this position.
Requirements :
Medical Technician (ASCP) :
- Associate degree
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
- Current Medical Technician Registration by ASCP or AMT
Medical Lab Scientist (Technologist) (ASCP) :
- Bachelor's Degree
- Current Medical Technology Registration by ASCP or AMT
Skills / Experience :
Two (2) year experience as a Medical Lab Scientist (Technologist) / Technician is preferred.
