Georgia Pacific in Crossett, AR is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for a wide range of electrical engineering activities, including project management, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

The Georgia Pacific Mill located in Crossett, AR provides a safe, modern community at the heart of some of the finest hunting, fishing, and wildlife locations in the South, yet is a short drive to shopping, food, and entertainment centers and within hours of major urban centers.
What You Will Do
- Project management for all types of projects.
- Maintain mill one-line drawing and SKM one line current.
- Maintain Arc Flash ratings for equipment.
- Electrical troubleshooting of high voltage equipment.
- Lead RCA’s for electrical failures within the mill and ensure corrective actions are documented.
- Responsible for mill electrical outages, scope of work, lockout planning, schedule, supervision of work.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or three (3) years electrical high voltage experience in an industrial setting.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70E requirements.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Interdisciplinary knowledge or background (mechanical, chemical, instrumentation, controls, electrical, etc.).
- Motivation to find and pursue opportunities to improve project competitiveness.
- Working knowledge and application of VFD’s, SKM Model, and HAC analysis.
- Working knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC, UL, and CSA.
