Description
The Executive Director of Parking and Transportation Services will serve as the functional leader and primary administrator in charge of the University of Houston Parking and Transportation Services.
- Direct oversight and management of the daily activities related to Parking and Transportation Services.
- Formulates and adheres to strict budgets.
- Responsible for strategic planning and rate setting.
- Develops policies and procedures to ensure a consistent and efficient operation.
- Responsible for contract management, compliance and oversight.
- Responsible for managing capital repair and renewal of parking structures.
- Serves as departmental point of contact for daily interactions and coordination with departmental stakeholders.
- Responsible for the coordination of the Transportation and Parking Advisory Committee (TPAC).
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Masters and 7 years experience
Experience : Requires application of advanced principles, techniques and theory in a professional discipline or a thorough general business management knowledge.
Knowledge of this level is typically obtained through a directly job-related Master's degree or equivalent formal training in a recognized field of specialization that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
Education : Requires a minimum of seven (7) years of directly job-related experience. Certification / Licensing : Requires a valid Texas driver's license.
