FCP Euro is seeking a dynamic and experienced Process Engineer to join our team. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for driving continuous process improvements across our facilities.

This role will support both our CT and AZ locations, as well as any future locations we might open. You will need to gain a deep understanding of our process and become a process expert with knowledge of how we evolved to our current state.

You will work closely with our distribution center associates and leaders to identify opportunities, tap into our support team to solve problems and implement changes, and ultimately be the driver of these changes within the DC.

Key Responsibilities

Process Expertise : Be an expert in all of our DC processes across multiple sites. Understand the flow of goods and value, strength, and opportunity throughout our distribution centers.

Proactively provides trusted insights on future CI and process improvements.

Change Leader : Provide single-threaded ownership for driving process improvements and project implementations. Owns the entire lifecycle of projects, from initiation, proof of concept, pilots, approvals, implementation, and hand-off.

Continuous Improvement : Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of our process, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Seek buy-in from stakeholders and assign priorities to projects and tasks.

Technology Utilization : Leverage warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ETL, Sigma, Grafana, and other technology tools to support data analysis and make data accessible to the broader DC leadership team.

Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate records of performance metrics and improvement initiatives. Timely prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

High-quality written communication is required.

Leadership Development : Closely work alongside our stakeholders to identify knowledge gaps in the space of data analytics, continuous improvement, and lean methodologies.

Engage the DC leadership through various channels to build a culture of continuous improvement.

Build cross-functional teams : Facilitate meetings and / or projects, and determine audience and tactics appropriate for a particular discussion.

Adapt facilitation style in order to engage a variety of group settings.

Leadership without Authority : Positively changes opinions and actions of others in a desired direction by providing users with vision and inspiration and mobilizing them to fulfill it.

Experience and Skills Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience working with Python, R, SQL, Matlab, SAS, or similar
  • Demonstrable experiences in building out business insight dashboards with Grafana, Tableau, PowerBI, or similar
  • Experience working with business teams to define and clean up data, provide data visualization, arrive at conclusions, and drive change
  • Experience with distribution / fulfillment, warehousing, and logistics
  • Experience with process / value stream mapping, root cause analysis, process control, or other lean / continuous improvement techniques
  • Project management experience with a history of successfully integrating strategic and ground-level projects is strongly preferred
  • Willing and able to travel to all domestic sites (up to 50%)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate to stakeholders at all levels - from front-line associates up to executive level
  • Consistently demonstrates humility, self-awareness, honesty, and transparency
  • Strong experience in statistical analysis, SQL, and programming / scripting required
  • Additional experience in distribution / fulfillment, warehousing, and logistics preferred
  • Additional experience or certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or Statistics preferred

Compensation

This is an exempt salaried role with a base salary of $80,000 - $110,000 depending on experience, with a total compensation opportunity of $85,000 to $120,000 annually.

This role will be physically located in either our Mesa, AZ or Milford, CT facilities.
