Description
As a Solution Engineer, you will be a pivotal member of our sales team by offering technical expertise and demonstrating the value of our eClinical platform to prospective clients.
You will collaborate closely with customers to understand their unique needs and tailor our solutions to address these requirements.
This is a hybrid role, requiring to be in the office in Austin, TX on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Occasional travel required for customer meetings, industry events, etc.
Responsibilities
- Technical Presentations and Demos : Deliver compelling demonstrations and presentations to prospective customers. Customize presentations to address specific challenges and needs within the life sciences sector.
- Customer Needs Analysis : Engage with customers to understand their requirements, business objectives, and specific challenges.
- Technical Documentation : Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including solution diagrams, architecture designs, and implementation guides.
- Sales Support : Assist the sales team with technical inquiries, competitive analysis, and RFXs. Provide insights on industry trends and competitor products to strengthen our sales approach.
- Training and Enablement : Train sales team on product updates and how to conduct high level demonstrations of the platform.
- Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients. Act as a trusted advisor to address any technical concerns and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Advanced degrees or relevant certifications in eClinical technology or life sciences are a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role within the SaaS industry, with a strong preference for experience in Life Sciences and Clinical Data Management Systems.
- Deep expertise in designing and demonstrating technical solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and persuasive presentations.
- Ability to work effectively with sales, customer success, and product teams. A collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving and solution development.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, demonstrations, and industry events.
- Professional proficiency in French is beneficial, though the primary language for work is in English.
