Subject to Grant Funding? : Yes Essential Job Functions : 1. Participates in preparation and management of research budgets and monetary disbursements.

2. Participates in design, administration, and monitoring of clinical trials; analyzes and evaluates clinical data gathered during research.

3. Ensures compliance with study protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and applicable regulatory requirements.

4. Arranges for research study sites and determines staff or equipment availability.

5. Confers with Principal Investigators and health care professionals to determine the best recruitment practices for studies.

6. Assesses eligibility of potential subjects through methods such as screening interviews, reviews of medical records, and discussions with physicians and nurses.

7. Informs patients or caregivers about study aspects and outcomes to be expected.

8. Schedules subjects for appointments, procedures, or inpatient stays as required by study protocols.

9. Oversees subject enrollment to ensure that informed consent is properly obtained and documented.

10. Tracks enrollment status of subjects and documents dropout information such as dropout causes and subject contact efforts.

11. Contacts outside health care providers and communicates with subjects to obtain follow-up information.

12. Participates in monitoring and training Research Assistants.

13. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventative health-care measures.

Physical Requirements :

Job Requirements : Required Certifications / Licensures : Required Education : Bachelor's Degree Major (if required) : Biology, Nursing, or related discipline Required Experience : Two (2) or more years of related relevant research experience.
