We are now looking for an exceptional attorney to join our team as an Associate Research Attorney.

This is an intensive, analytical role where you’ll be tasked with developing legal arguments and delivering expert-level legal writing and analysis.

Our work spans multiple jurisdictions, and experience in multi-jurisdictional research and writing is preferred. As an Associate Research Attorney, you’ll work closely with Ryan Mazur to tackle complex legal research and writing projects for attorneys throughout the country.

You’ll play a critical role in all stages of research and drafting, contributing to the preparation of signature-ready documents for filing in state and federal courts throughout the country.

This position offers the flexibility of remote work and the potential to transition to full-time employment as the company continues to grow.

As part of our team, you’ll have the flexibility to work from home and manage your own time. This role offers the chance to focus on high-level legal analysis and writing, without the demands of courtroom appearances, office politics, and the grind of litigation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct detailed and thorough legal research to support complex legal arguments across multiple jurisdictions.
• Assist in drafting high-quality legal documents, including appellate briefs, memoranda, and motions, that meet the exacting standards of our attorney customers.
• Collaborate with Ryan to analyze legal issues and craft persuasive legal arguments.
• Ensure that all research and writing adhere to the highest standards of precision, clarity, and legal scholarship.

Qualifications :

• Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• At least 2 years of litigation or appellate experience.
• Impeccable legal research and writing skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and articulate complex legal arguments in a modern "plain English" style of writing.
• Tech proficiency in Word, Outlook, Zoom, Dropbox, and other relevant tools to enable remote work.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• A passion for legal research and writing.
• Multi-jurisdictional experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
