Our communications client is looking for a Technical Program Manager to join their team.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Pay Rate : $60.00 - $70.00 / hr on W2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate;

other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits : medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state / locality.

Responsibilities of the Technical Program Manager :

Strategic Program Management : Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical programs and initiatives within the WiFi Product Operations team.

Ensure alignment with business objectives and customer experience goals.

Cross-functional Coordination : Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, field operations, and customer operations to drive program success.

Facilitate communication and alignment of priorities for investigations across various Advanced WiFi Platforms

Performance Metrics and Reporting : Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program effectiveness, team productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Prepare regular reports and presentations for stakeholders to communicate program status and outcomes.

Technical Oversight : Provide leadership and oversight for the assessment, analysis, and resolution of WiFi hardware and software-related issues.

Interpret technical data and insights to drive continuous improvement in product quality and performance

  • Process Optimization : Evaluate current processes and define strategies for optimization and standardization. Develop and implement Lean frameworks and methodologies to streamline operations and enhance efficiency across the team.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, to gain support and alignment on program goals, milestones, and deliverables.

Build consensus and drive decision-making processes as needed.

Continuous Improvement : Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team by promoting feedback loops, lessons learned sessions, and process retrospectives.

Implement corrective actions and process refinements based on insights and feedback.

Documentation and Knowledge Management : Establish and maintain comprehensive documentation including project plans, status reports, process documents, and technical specifications.

Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to team members and stakeholders.

Compliance and Quality Assurance : Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies throughout program execution.

Conduct quality assurance checks and audits as necessary to maintain high standards of product delivery.

Requirements of the Technical Program Manager :

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business administration, or a related field is required.

Master’s degree is preferred

  • Strong understanding of 802.11 standards (WiFi), including protocols such as 802.11a / b / g / n / ac / ax.
  • Demonstrated expertise in WiFi technology and its application in telecommunications environments.
  • Knowledge of software development principles and experience in software architecture, design, and implementation within technical projects.
  • Prior experience in the Telecommunications industry is required, with familiarity defining and implementing Lean frameworks within large enterprises being a plus.
  • Experience : At least 7 years of experience in Project / Program Management, with a minimum of 2-3 years of Program / Product WiFi domain experience.
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery frameworks such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Scrum at Scale, LeSS, Lean, and Six Sigma.
