We are seeking a Sr. Accountant in the Real Estate Property / Facilities Management industry to join our team based in Dallas, Texas.
In this role, you will be expected to review contracts, manage revenue, and maintain a high level of organization. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of customer credit applications.
- Maintain and update customer credit records with a high degree of accuracy.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
- Review contracts in detail to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage and record revenue, ensuring all transactions are correctly accounted for.
- Utilize excellent written and oral communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
- Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilize your knowledge and experience in Real Estate contracts to contribute to team goals.
- Manage and reconcile accounts as part of your daily duties.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Real Estate Property / Facilities Management industry
- Proficient in contract management, specifically real estate contracts
- Ability to manage commissions and perform account reconciliation
- Experience in cash applications procedures
- Demonstrated ability to provide direct supervision to a team
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and PeopleSoft is a must
- Strong skills in MS Excel are required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) is a plus
