Responsibilities :

As our CNA at St. John's you’ll help our patients feel safer and more comfortable by assisting with their basic daily life activities.

Your success in this role comes from your genuine desire to help patients feel better whether that means giving them fresh bed linens or checking their vitals.

You’re diligent about your tasks observant of patients’ conditions improving or declining and accept coaching well. You know we’re all continuously trying to become better care providers and you’re eager to learn.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements :

Current AHA CPR certification (CT CPRBLS)

Current CNA Certification (CT NA)

High School education or equivalent

Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program.

Preferred Requirements :

Six (6) months recent hospital experience as CNA

Special Skills :

Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing clearly concisely and accurately.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Ability to operate common office equipment including computers.

Knowledge of medical terminology and basic procedures.

This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
