Position Overview :

Provides evaluation, treatment and follow-up to patients within a clinical nursing program. Serves as a primary point of contact for all things related to the care and education of the patients and ensures efficient and effective processes that support safe patient care throughout continuum of care.

Participates in the development and implementation of clinical programs and procedures and participates in performance improvement programs.

Coordinates and supervises nursing standards of practice for patients and participates in data reporting. May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and / or orient other staff to the department.

Responsible for sepsis, stroke and resuscitate programs along with community outreach.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE :

RN - Registered Nurse for the state where care is provided

BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE :

5 years recent relevant experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE :

Expert knowledge and competence with regard to nursing theories, concepts and practices; medical terminology; anatomy; and physiology.

Knowledge of the healthcare industry, safety precaution policies, best practices regarding patient care and privacy, and changes in local / state / federal regulations.

Knowledge relating to healthcare delivery, project management, and quality improvement.

Experience defining, configuring, accessing, querying, and validating data.

Ability to work independently; receives minimal guidance.

Written and verbal communications skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical people.

Knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Outlook), Electronic Health Record (EPIC preferred).

Prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies, procedures, and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

Work independently, as well as be part of the team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions.

Identify, evaluate and resolve standard problems by selecting appropriate solutions from established options.

Ensure the privacy of each patient’s protected health information (PHI).

Build collaborate relationships with peers and other healthcare providers to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.

Pay Range is $65.97 to $86.42 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled.

Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
