Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Production Equipment Mechanic with 1-3 years’ work experience in the production equipment repair and maintenance field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
This is a Temp-Direct opportunity for an Aviation company in Oxnard, CA.
Shift : 6am -430pm to start with goal to be on the 12pm-1030pm shift
Salary : $25.00 HR
Summary :
- Performs production equipment maintenance according to scheduled preventative maintenance requirements, maintains track records using Faciliworks maintenance program, and repairs broken equipment.
- Essential Duties and RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following, other duties may be assigned :
- Performs preventative maintenance (PM) and repairs of production equipment and other machinery.
- Keeps records of PM using Faciliworks maintenance program.
- Rebuilds production related equipment and consults equipment supervisor for advice if needed.
- Uses hand and power tools, and other equipment to perform his assignments.
- Participates in removal or relocation of old and installation of new equipment.
- Works from blueprints, sketches, layout drawings, and verbal instructions.
- Performs other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.
- Basic knowledge of general trade fundamentals sufficient to perform equipment maintenance work and repairs.
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years’ work experience preferred in the production equipment repair and maintenance field, preferably in manufacturing environment.
