Information Security Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Information Security Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Chandler, AZ.

This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities :

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Information Security Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Information Security Engineering deliverables.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Information Security Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Information Security Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with client personnel in Information Security Engineering.
• Assess, design and implement solutions and oversight capabilities for data protection / data loss prevention.
• Lead or participate in technical investigation of security related incidents and post incident digital forensics to identify causes and recommend future mitigation strategies.
• Provide security consulting on for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards.
• Design, document, and oversight a minimum viable baseline of security requirements and controls.

Requirements :

• 4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following : work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
• A broad set of security experiences including successful DLP techniques (and knowledge across the layers of security defense (Endpoint, Proxy, Infrastructure) to define and implement solutions.
