Our Charlotte, North Carolina facility is home to the A. O. Smith Water Systems Division, where we engineer and manufacture expansion tanks for water heating systems along with storage and well water tanks.
Regularly Scheduled Hours : 9 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm, Monday - Friday (possibly flexible)
Pay Rate : $16.90 / hr.
Job Duties
- Keep all restrooms clean & stocked with paper products
- Keep clean & maintain floors (buff & wax as needed) run floor scrubber as needed
- Clean office areas, conference rooms and training rooms, lobby areas, and empty trash
- Clean breakroom areas, including wiping out coolers / fridges, microwaves, cabinets, and empty trash
- Clean and maintain areas outside of the building, and parking areas.
- Monitor and maintain keepstock janitorial inventory and equipment
- Clean inside the plant as needed, include baling supersacks
- Participate in 5S events
- Other duties as assigned
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Years of Experience
Minimum of 6 months related work experience
Physical Requirements
- Variable hot and cold working environment.
- Must follow safety procedures must be able to perform occasional heavy (50lbs)
- Constant walking and navigating stairs
