Job Summary

We areseeking a Renewables Power Engineering Specialist to join our PowerSystems Renewables Department under the Renewable ProjectDevelopment and Support Division (RPD&SD).

RPD&SD performsproject due diligence feasibility studies sitespecific engineeringanalysis specific design reviews and the evaluation of energyrequirements for residential commercial and industrial scalesacross This Company facilities.

Your primary role is to support theevaluation and development of renewables business cases and capitalprojects.

Responsibilities :

• Develop long term master plans forcosteffective and innovative design strategies and solutions indifferent operating areas of This Company to meet sustainabilitygoals.
• Conduct economic analysis and evaluatedifferent project alternatives to recommend the best investmentdecisions with the maximum attainable Net Present Value (NPV) forrenewable systems.
• Examine technical studiesto align with This Company project proposal procedures includingequipment reliability condition assessment obsolescence andstandard compliance.
• Work withmultidisciplinary internal and external organizations to providetechnical guidance and recommendations on design details andconstruction documents as necessary.
• Performsolar resource data analysis for feasibility studies and systemdesign including PR yield availability production etc.
• Conduct site visits to perform feasibility studiesincluding load profiling studies using power analyzer.
• Design both grid interactive or standalone PV systems forindustrial applications with different installation configurations(rooftop and ground mounted) including balance of systems designcalculations layouts and schematic diagrams.
• Provide economic analysis (LCOE NPV) and recommend thebest investment decisions with the maximum attainable Net PresentValue (NPV).
• Promote a learning environmentand continuous development acting as a mentor to juniorengineers.
• Develop and maintain This CompanyEngineering Standards and Design Best Practices Design Manuals orother documentation to enhance company profitability andproductivity.

Requirements :

• Willing to permanently relocateat Dhahran Saudi Arabia.
• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or RenewablesEngineering is required while a Masters Degree ispreferred.
• CEM certification is aplus.
• 10 years engineering design experiencein Solar PV Concentrated solar and Energy storage (heat andchemical storage technologies).
• Strongtechnical experience in Solar PV and Energy storage technologies(Flow batteries Lithium batteries) system design optimizationtechnology assessment and technoeconomic feasibility studies gridinterconnection and reliability or distribution either with utilityor endusers is desired.
• Preferred Solar PVexperience including plant design installation and commissioningsystem interconnection codes and standards.
• Experience in Computerized Solar PV Systems analysistools such as PVsyst HOMER AutoCAD PVGIS tools poweranalyzer / logger IV curve tracing and battery tester ispreferred.
• Green Hydrogen Fuel cells and Windenergy experience is a plus.
