JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Primary responsibility is focused on execution of procuring and tracking all CapEx goods and services for Viega in a standardized way.
This role owns the quotation process(RFx, quote analysis with internal stakeholders, supplier selection) and also the contract development and negotiation required to procure the product or service.
This role will also provide daily support and ongoing ownership of the procurement process from the earliest stages of resource and master planning, project tracking and report outs, and the completion of signoffs from supporting departments and stakeholders on contracts.
As a project manager, you will use data to provide direct feedback on supplier performance and conduct annual reviews to improve supplier relations.
JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS
Project Management
- Develop and coach the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
- Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.
- Report project outcomes and / or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and researchers.
Process Management
- Work with stakeholders on identifying and negotiating the purchase of product(s) and / or service(s).
- Work in conjunction with Procurement team members, Emerging Technologies, Legal, Finance, and others to maximize success of standardized processes and development projects pertinent to cost, quality, manufacturing readiness, and schedule.
- Stay in regular communication with internal customers to identify new opportunities to improve the system process.
- Support the creation and implementation of standardized process in the CapEx workspace and maintain all documentation for the assigned areas.
- Support regular audits of controlled documentation, identify opportunities and implement countermeasures to documentation based on internal and external audits.
Contract Development
- Work cross-functionally with supporting areas such as Legal, Emerging Technologies, and Maintenance and Reliability to ensure all agreements and contracts are in place to prevent delays in the project timeline.
- Draft and provide the Statement of Work(SOW) based on the supplier quotation and feedback from internal stakeholders to ensure the purchase is clearly defined.
- Review and analyze contract terms, identifying potential risks, discrepancies, and opportunities for cast savings or process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and lead positive negotiations of CapEx goods and services with suppliers to achieve a mutually beneficial outcome (win / win) based on the needs and financial goals of the company.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, ensuring that all parties fulfill their obligations and contractual requirements.
- When needed, provide all necessary reports to leadership to complete the approval process of all contracts.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Four or more years of project management experience.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines.
- Proven success working with all levels of management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills

Education, Certification / License & Work Experience
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- At least five (5) years experience within a Supply Chain or Procurement role
- Experience as a project manager leading projects from conception to completion

Compensation :
- Base : $89,000 - $116,000 annually (CO), based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
- Bonus : This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
