Program Summary
Participates in the identification, analysis, evaluation and monitoring of foreign and domestic systems, instrumentation, methods, procedures, and processes.
Performs all-source scientific and technical intelligence analysis to determine characteristics of various systems and functions of instrumentation.
Reports changes, trends and implications regarding design and integration of evolving systems and instrumentation. Solves complex information requirements problems via a combination of analytic judgment and proven analytic practices.
Provide on-site support and assistance to plan, develop, execute, and analyze joint exercises and wargames.
Job Summary
Support Intelligence for Joint Training. Using military intelligence experience in USSTRATCOM UCP mission areas and overall intelligence procedures for collection, reporting and product development, provide intelligence development for exercise and wargame on-site training scenarios.
Assist Scenario / Intelligence / OPFOR Leading briefing prep support in J71 hosted Initial Planning Conference (IPC), Scenario Development Conference (SDC), Main Planning Conference (MPC), In-progress Review (IPR), and Final Planning Conference (FPC).
Roles and Responsibilities :
- The selected candidate will collect and analyze data including, finished intelligence, open-source reports, after action reports, and component inputs
- Examples of analysis include : Identification of operational shortfalls, risks, vulnerabilities, and capability gapsIdentification of factors leading to progression toward / regression from Campaign objectivesIdentification of military and strategic risks and vulnerabilitiesDOTMLPF gaps
Basic Qualifications :
- At least 7 years' experience in gathering and analyzing all-source intelligence community products, open-source reports, diplomatic reports, and after-action reports.
- Intelligence experience and training in one or more of USSTRATCOM's assigned UCP missions is strongly desired.
- Ability to prepare a well-grounded, defensible argument
- Understand the interrelationships between domain of expertise and other domains
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task Familiarity with USSTRATCOM organization desired
- At least 2 years' experience conducting mission analysis, developing objectives, effects / measures
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team of effectiveness, tasks / measures of performance, and indicators
- Security Clearance : TS / SCI
