Job Summary
The Business Transformation Specialist will be part of a team responsible for the long-term transition of legacy systems and processes to a modern digital-first platform.
This role serves a dedicated organization who owns an entirely new customer journey tied to a full stack technology migration.
This role will serve as a key thought-leader within our company, helping to champion a "digital first" planning culture, and supporting corporate efforts to further adopt digital technologies as a core part of our sales, marketing and care operations.
This is a position that requires a dedicated professional and will have direct involvement in all sales and marketing process architecture decisions across a wide variety of channels.
You will support strategic transformation across platforms and processes including customer relationship management, campaign management, multi-channel identity management, serviceability and construction management, order management, lead generation, partner engagement, and artificial intelligence.
The successful candidate will have command of best practices and trends in enterprise software systems and go-to-market strategies.
The Business Transformation Specialist will oversee multiple IT project pipelines, working with a mix of dependent internal teams and external vendors to define requirements, responsibilities, deliverables, and associated timelines to accomplish set goals.
Architecture design and documentation are of utmost importance. They must possess thorough knowledge of project management best practices, as well as building and presenting budget plans to management.
Defining KPIs and creating a clear timeline for both short-term and long-term initiatives is critical to succeeding in this role.
Responsibilities
- Help conduct thorough analysis of current B2B sales processes to identify areas for improvement and automation.
- Help develop and implement a data-driven approach to decision-making within B2B Sales Operations.
- Assist in the ongoing configuration and optimization of Salesforce as the core B2B Sales Operations platform.
- Conduct QA and user testing to gather feedback and ensure proper business acceptance.
- Support the development and implementation of effective change management strategies to facilitate user adoption.
- Partner with IT and vendors to ensure the ongoing maintenance, security, and support model post-implementation
- Leverage automation tools and technologies to streamline manual tasks and increase sales and marketing productivity.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a technical role, with proven experience in successful business transformation initiatives.
- Experience in developing and implementing transformation strategies across various functional areas (e.g., marketing, sales, operations, finance, IT).
- Strong understanding of operations management, change management principles, and project management methodologies.
- Some experience with enterprise software vendors across a wide variety of business functions including CRM, GIS, CPQ, RLM, CDP, CMS, CLM, DSP, ESP, and BSS / OSS
- Broad experience with agile software development and associated platforms (e.g. Jira)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of issues and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and motivate stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, meet deadlines, and deliver results on time and within budget.

Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience.
The starting pay rate / range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $64,260.00 - $105,570.00 / year.
