Foreman Directional Drill Bore

Knowledge of established buried / bore cable installation procedures and techniques. Be familiar with wide range of tools and equipment, ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions.

Responsibilities :

• Extensive knowledge of directional drilling operations
• Must be proficient with drilling equipment and knowing its capabilities and limitations
• Experience with drill set up and design processes
• Must be able to develop and maintain a bore schedule
• Must have good troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Must be very safety conscientious and involved in new site Job Safely Analysis - JSA's prior to starting construction
• Must be able to proficiently use locators to safely identify utilities
• Safely operates directional drills on jobsite
• Restores and / or landscapes disturbed areas of the jobsite
• Demonstrates job skill, procedures and techniques to crew members
• Responsible for the site set-up and clean-up
• Strong technical knowledge of directional drilling operations.
• 5 years of directional drilling experience
• Valid Driver's license required, Class A CDL preferred
• Ability to drive a company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
• Ability to meet critical deadlines under stressful conditions
• Highly organized and the ability to multitask
• Ability to accurately measure distance, using tapes or other measuring devices
