Responsibilities
- Empty cases from the trailers while stacking the empty pallets and then washing the trailer out.
- Keep work area neat and clean at all times during the shift.
- Clean the case washers on a daily basis to ensure the proper cleaning of cases being supplied to the plant.
- Check and document the case washer temperature.
- Check and document cleaning solution concentration at least once per shift according to the Master Sanitation schedule.
- Complete all assigned paperwork.
- All other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work weekends, and varying shifts (days, evening, nights)
- Must maintain a valid forklift certification issued by the company
- Must be able to stand / walk on your feet constantly during your shift.
- Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to constantly pull up to 270 lbs. with a pull rod while walking backwards.
- Position requires frequent lifting, reaching, climbing, pulling, stooping, bending, and kneeling.
- Must be able to work outside and be exposed to the outside weather / temperature conditions.
- Maintain constant mental focus and constantly be aware of surroundings.
