Management Resources is seeking an Interim Payroll Supervisor for a part time (30 hours a week) contract in Dallas. The role involves overseeing the payroll processes and driving automation initiatives within the organization.
Responsibilities for the Interim Payroll Supervisor - 30 hours a week
- Oversee and manage the payroll processes for approximately 400 employees, including those based in Miami.
- Collaborate closely with the Finance team to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Implement and manage payroll automation initiatives to increase efficiency.
- Utilize ADP for payroll processing and provide feedback for improvements.
- Manage bi-weekly payroll runs and ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll procedures within the healthcare industry.
- Leverage Microsoft Excel to manage payroll data and generate reports.
- Contribute to business process improvement initiatives within the payroll department.
- Manage and maintain the QuickBooks General Ledger.
- Proficiency in ADP - Payroll, ADP Enterprise, and Automated Payroll systems
- Extensive experience in payroll processing for 101 - 500 employees
- Ability to process bi-weekly and bi-monthly payroll
- Strong understanding and experience with payroll automation
- Demonstrated ability in business process improvement
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Prior experience in the HealthCare Industry
- Ability to supervise and provide guidance to payroll staff
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred)
- Professional certification in payroll (preferred)
