What you'll be doing...

You will be responsible for the Engineering and Implementation of Mobile Telephone Switching Offices, playing a pivotal part in the successful deployment of 5G.

The ideal candidate will have a construction background and experience managing a large volume of projects. This role will work closely with Real Estate, RF Design, Interconnect, Network Assurance, and multiple external vendors.

  • Conducting site walks with contractors to ensure construction, power, and fiber requirements are met.
  • Managing external vendors to ensure schedules are aligned with activation targets.
  • Providing regular updates on construction progress, changes, and risks.
  • Leading the expansion of strategic infrastructure based project activities in Verizon network Central Offices / Technical Facilities to support network growth and strategic initiatives.

Location : Other valid Verizon locations may be considered.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have :

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
  • A valid driver's license.

Even better if you have one or more of the following :

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Facility Management, Construction Management, or relevant technical degree.
  • Experience in construction or A&E design.
  • Experience in Engineering and Network Assurance standards.

Where you'll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $90,000.00 and $167,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more.

For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
