We are looking for an Account Manager to join our North American Reporter Services team to work with companies on their environmental reporting through tailored one-on-one support, data analytics, and thought leadership.
Your mission : help us further our mission by helping companies improve their corporate sustainability initiatives and reporting.
Who you are
- Must reside and be eligible to work in the United States
- Possess a keen interest in environmental corporate reporting and disclosure
- Advanced knowledge of sustainability issues, specifically related to climate change, water security, and / or commodity-linked deforestation
- Excellent engagement and communication skills, strong ability to pitch services, and advanced planning skills
- Come up to speed quickly and independently with technical information (such as CDP's guidance and scoring methodology) and apply this information to company responses
- Strong attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skills
- Understand company needs, identify opportunities, and act on this information
- Can meet deadlines under pressure
Your day-to-day
- Manage Reporter Services deliverables for member accounts (20+ companies), including answering technical questions and tracking delivery of member benefits
- Secure new Reporter Services memberships, as well as renewals with existing members
- Build a deep understanding and expertise of CDP technical materials including the Scoring Methodology, Guidance, and Corporate Questionnaire
- Strengthen relationships with members, including generating and furthering relevant opportunities for CDP initiatives managed by other teams
- Coordinate relevant communications to members
- Contribute to annual planning and service / product development
- Represent CDP through networking and speaking engagements at sustainability and sector-related conferences
- Manage projects across global Reporter Services program areas, such as product development, marketing and sales, and / or events
