We are seeking a dedicated Marketing Coordinator to support a wide range of efforts relating to growth initiatives across the firm of our law firm client.
This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and busy team. The Marketing Coordinator will report to the Director of Marketing and Branding and will work closely with the Marketing Specialist and other members of the Marketing and Business Development department to collaborate and ensure cohesive and effective project deliverables.
The Marketing Coordinator will work full time in the firm’s Voorhees, NJ office.
This is a highly visible role working in a fast-paced professional services environment and requires a self-starting individual with a strong background in project management.
The position works collaboratively with the Marketing and Business Development department, practice groups, and other administrative departments.
This role is responsible for proposing creative ideas and executing on strategies that contribute to the firm’s marketing and business development goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating both internal and external client seminars, including applying for professional education credits;
- creating invitations and registration websites; developing PowerPoint presentations, seminar materials and handouts; working or attending the event;
and post-event follow-up
- Provide graphic design support with creative projects, including advertisements, flyers, announcements, invitations, promotional items, etc.
- Support the coordination of the firm’s sponsorship of charitable community events and logistics surrounding those events
- Assist with the management and submission of all marketing related check requests, reimbursements and vendor payments for processing by the firm’s accounting department
- Coordination with Marketing and Business Development department members, as well as attorneys, to produce and distribute client communications, including client advisories, announcements, and other marketing content
- Help to maintain relevant client mailing lists within the firm’s systems to ensure that the data is clean, current, and in compliance
- Collaborate with firm vendors to design, select, procure, produce and manage inventory of promotional items and materials that support marketing and business development efforts
- Manage and maintain marketing supply inventory such as giveaways and promotional items
- Create and maintain content on firm's website and social media accounts, including updates to practice areas, attorney bio, news releases, speaking engagements, etc.
- Assist with the preparation of proposals, competitive intelligence research and other communications and business development projects as needed
- Assist with the management and coordination of sports and event tickets for client entertainment purposes
- Educate and assist attorneys and professional staff with their professional networking activities, including demonstrating the use of social media platforms
- Support Director of Marketing and Branding with firmwide marketing projects as needed
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
- 1-3 years of proven work experience in a marketing or communications role, professional services or law firm background a plus
- High level of professionalism and client service
- Top notch time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and events with competing deadlines and shifting priorities
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to master new tools quickly
- Demonstrated experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus
- High proficiency with print and digital media formats and design, photo editing, SEO, Google Analytics and HTML
- Highly skilled with digital marketing and email marketing tools, with the ability to master new tools quickly
- Ability to grasp future trends in the digital marketing and media space and act proactively
- Experience with online event registration systems such as Cvent a plus
- Demonstrated writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Ability to remain organized and on-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confident and self-motivated with ability to interact with firm members at all levels
- Able to preserve confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Able to work overtime as needed outside of position hours (9 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM) for events, proposal support, and other deadline-driven projects
