We are seeking a driven individual to join our team as an Agent Apprentice. This role offers the opportunity to excel in sales, build meaningful client relationships, and gain hands-on experience in agency operations, setting a strong foundation for a future in agency ownership.
In addition to your sales responsibilities, youll work closely with the agency owner, gaining a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to successfully manage and grow an insurance agency.
Youll receive mentorship, practical training, and support as you develop essential skills in both sales and agency management.
This position is tailored to prepare you with the knowledge and expertise needed to eventually transition into owning your own Farmers agency, offering a clear pathway to long-term career success and entrepreneurial growth.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their unique insurance needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Sell a range of insurance products , including home, auto, and life, to new and existing clients.
- Work closely with the agency owner to gain a deep understanding of agency operations , including client management, sales strategies, and business growth.
- Assist clients with insurance policy questions , updates, and claims, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to the agencys growth by identifying new business opportunities, generating referrals, and developing sales leads.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on industry trends, products, and client needs.
- Participate in training sessions and mentorship activities to develop key skills in sales and agency management.

- Must be willing to obtain specific insurance licenses (such as property, casualty, life, and health insurance) within a designated timeframe (support and guidance provided by Farmers Insurance).
- Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus but not required; a strong willingness to learn and grow in a new field is essential.
- High school diploma or equivalent required ; college degree preferred but not mandatory.
