Part-Time Payroll Assistant
Location : Farmingdale, NY
Hours : Monday to Friday, Flexible
Position : Long Term Temporary Part Time
Salary : $25 - $30 an hour

Well known north shore storage and transport company is seeking a part time payroll assistant to support their payroll operations.
This role is perfect for a college student, a parent with school-age children, or someone looking to return to work with experience in payroll, accounting, or bookkeeping.
Key Responsibilities :
Time Card Calculation : Accurately calculate hours worked from electronic time cards.
Data Entry : Enter payroll information into the ADP system.
Collaboration : Work closely with the owner to ensure payroll accuracy and timeliness.
Record Maintenance : Assist in maintaining payroll records and files.
Schedule :
Hours : 16-20 hours per week
Shift Options : 8 AM - 12 PM
8 AM - 12 PM
9 AM - 1 PM
10 AM - 2 PM
Mandatory Day : Wednesdays
Qualifications :
Previous payroll or light accounting / bookkeeping experience is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ADP is a plus.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
