Position Summary : The Receptionist works under general supervision to perform various procedures associated with routine patient encounters;
and maintains positive relationships with patients, family members and other visitors, and fellow employees.
- Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent; must be able to work in fast-paced environment and perform procedure for routine patient care;
- must be able to multitask, have good phone etiquette, be a team player, have a neat appearance, and good communication skills;
must work well with patients and others.
The physical guidelines for a receptionist include the ability to bend, stoop, lift, sit, stand, and walk for at least eight or more hours daily;
articulate speech; ability to work at desk for up to eight hours per day.
Work Schedule : Week one : Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, 8 : 00 a.m. 8 : 00 p.m., Sunday, 1 : 00 p.m. 8 : 00 p.m.
Week two : Wednesday and Thursday, 8 : 00 a.m. - 8 : 00 p.m. Rotating shift.
