We are currently seeking a Purchaser to join our team of professionals in Pompano Beach, Florida .
Key Responsibilities
The Purchaser is responsible for the replenishment of a portfolio of products from a specific grouping of suppliers. He / she will hold responsibility for the timely execution of purchase orders, therefore ensuring the maintenance of optimum inventory levels.
- Maintain an optimum level of inventory for a portfolio of suppliers
- Analyze and take action on the recommendations of company Supply Reports
- Be responsible for tracking orders with suppliers
- Understand supplier service variables and provide effective solutions in order to maintain at satisfactory levels
- Address potential service issues with supplier base portfolio
- Work collaboratively with sales, purchasing, warehouse, and product management teams in order to produce / maintain a state-of-the-art experience for our customers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel.
What We Are Looking For
- Relevant purchasing experience, with an added bonus if within the furniture manufacturing industry
- Developed analytical, planning, and organizing skills
- Coachable, proactive, strong work ethic
- Experience with an ERP system
- University degree in Logistics & Supply Chain, Procurement, Business or similar a plus.
