Job Description : As an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with orthopedic conditions in an outpatient setting.
Key responsibilities include :
- Performing comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic injuries and conditions
- Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments
- Administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to enhance recovery
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Educating patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques, injury prevention, and home exercise programs
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care
- Maintaining accurate and timely patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations
Education & Certification Requirements :
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited institution
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Colorado
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings preferred
- Proficiency in orthopedic assessment, treatment techniques, and patient care planning
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a patient-centered, dynamic environment
