Position Summary : Field Service Engineers provide on-site installation, repair, modification, and preventative maintenance of all Stereotaxis technology in hospital surgical environments, along with remote diagnosis and support of these activities.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Diagnose, install, repair, modify, and perform preventative maintenance of all Stereotaxis technology.
• Interface with customers to obtain accurate details of the equipment service needs and provide updates regarding the progress of the service / installation.
• Create or modify service documentation such as installation, service, periodic maintenance, and troubleshooting manuals.
• Maintain reporting documentation to ensure compliance with company and government requirements. Examples include expense reports, field service reports, complaint handling, etc.
• Perform remote support and diagnosis when not actively deployed in the field.

Job Requirements :

Qualifications & Skills :

• Associates degree in electronics or relevant technical subject preferred.
• 1-3+ years' experience in field service position highly preferred.
• 1-3+ years' experience with diagnosis and repair of electromechanical systems highly preferred.
• Experience working in a diagnostic x-ray environment and catheter lab environment highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites and make business decisions to maintain customer satisfaction and escalate problems in a timely manner.
• Good communication skills, including ability to communicate appropriately with customers, required.
• Ability to make repairs at a component level, if required.
• Windows experience including TCP / IP protocols highly preferred.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Work Conditions : This role is a field position and requires approximately 50-100% travel including occasional weekend travel.

This role must be able to provide after-hours technical support, must be able to lift 40lbs, and must be able to work around magnetic fields.
