Primary Purpose
To work and assist the Victoria Fine Arts Center Manager or Victoria Representative on duty with ongoing events, rentals and school functions as well as daily upkeep and maintenance of the VISD Fine Arts Center.
Qualification Guidelines :
Education / Certifications : High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience : Some experience working with theatrical productions preferred
Special Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
Excellent customer service skills
Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance and safety procedures Knowledge of minor repair techniques and building / grounds maintenance
Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies
Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
Physical ability to perform duties (Lifting up to 40 pounds required)
Professional appearance and demeanor
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Assist in the supervision of and the loading and unloading of scenery and stage equipment as required by incoming performing companies
