Fixed Asset Accountant

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Ensure the accurate recording of weekly payroll expense. Investigate and revolve any variances.
- Complete regular tasks related to period-end accounting close activities; including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial report creation
- Prepare analysis and commentary along with supporting schedules for assigned areas for monthly financial review.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), internal controls, and company and departmental procedures.
- Fulfill requests from both Internal and External auditors
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 2-4 years of related experience
- Understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
- Positive and proactive attitude along with strong organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
- Proficiency in Excel required
Preferred Qualifications :
- SAP experience
- Payroll experience
- Fixed asset experience
