Job Summary :
Join our team and play a key role in maintaining quality standards! As a Quality Inspector, you will :
- Perform real-time inspections of finished goods and intermediate products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Utilize calibrated measuring tools (such as hand tools, gauges, weights, and scales) for quality checks.
- Execute quality transactions in SAP, including batch releases, blocking / unblocking materials, and managing finished goods.
- Issue non-conformance reports for materials that deviate from specifications, incorrect documentation, or process irregularities.
- Collect and sample incoming bulk materials in accordance with ANSI standards, using Thermatron testers.
- Prepare Certificates of Analysis and Compliance for finished goods prior to shipment.
- Manage materials in blocked and quality inspection status within SAP.
- Maintain inventory tracking logs and oversee the recall process for finished goods from the ABQ warehouse.
- Keep various reports updated, including daily reports, batch files, validation tests, capacity records, and the NCR database.
- Assist with the repackaging and labeling of finished products.
- Maintain the non-conforming materials area.
- Develop and document inspection plans and instructions.
- Support investigations and help resolve customer complaints.
- Ensure all measuring tools are properly maintained and calibrated.
- Oversee document control by creating and updating GMS documents, such as SOPs and work instructions.
- Provide quality training to production operators.
Requirements :
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Strong capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient math and computer skills.
- SAP experience is highly preferred.
