A company is looking for a Staff Tax Accountant to analyze, prepare, and submit tax filings and assist with regulatory audits.
Key Responsibilities : Complete and file state and local tax returns, including sales & use and property taxesHandle Federal, state, and local regulatory filings, such as business licenses and annual reportsResearch tax regulations and assist in audits or inquiries from regulatory agenciesQualifications : Minimum 1 year of experience with multi-state sales and use tax returnsExperience with fuel tax, DMV filings, or environmental reporting preferredKnowledge of multi-state income tax filings is a plusIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially ExcelExperience with Avalara tax software is desirable
