The QC Technician will support the testing and documentation needs of the Quality Control department during the manufacture and release of Bio-Rad control products.

This position will work both independently and in a team oriented environment performing daily testing of products.

This position is on the 3rd shift starting after 5pm Monday through Friday. This position is eligible for Shift Pay Differential.

How You'll Make An Impact :

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot QC laboratory instruments.

Follow good laboratory (GLP) and good documentation practices (GDP).

Order supplies and perform maintaintanence on instruments.

Interface with other departments when required.

Evaluate assay runs for accuracy and acceptability to Quality Control procedures and enter results into appropriate databases / software.

W hat You Bring :

  • Education : AA or higher degree in a science field or equivalent clinical lab experience
  • Ability to follow standard procedures in a quick-paced, detail-oriented environment
  • Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills are needed
  • Ability to communicate clearly when problems arise
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and LIMS a plus
  • Clinical experience and / or medical technologist certification, experience running Chemistry or Immunoassay analyzers and Clinical experience and / or medical technologist certification a plus.

Compensation : The estimated base salary range for this position is $25.96 to $35.72 per hour at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.

This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
