Overview :
The role of General Labor - Pharma is crucial to the pharmaceutical industry, as it involves supporting various functions within the production and quality control processes.
The individual in this role plays a vital part in ensuring that pharmaceutical products are manufactured, packaged, and labeled in compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assisting in the production of pharmaceutical products according to standard operating procedures
- Following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols in the laboratory and production areas
- Performing manual assembly and packaging of pharmaceutical products
- Ensuring cleanliness and organization in the work area to maintain sterile and controlled environments
- Conducting visual inspections of products for defects or abnormalities
- Completing production and quality control documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Assisting in inventory management and stock replenishment
- Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and machinery
- Participating in training on pharmaceutical regulations and quality standards
- Supporting quality control testing and analysis as needed
Required Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in pharmaceutical production or laboratory techniques are a plus
- Prior experience in a pharmaceutical production or laboratory environment
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and quality standards, such as GMP and FDA guidelines
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to strict protocols
- Demonstrated manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Basic understanding of inventory management and stock control procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects when necessary
- Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing production schedules
