Job Overview :

These developers will participate in building and modernizing web-based applications to support our client projects, work with technical leads to develop and enforce standards, collaborate with a development team, and follow solutions as they are developed through production deployment.

The client team performs custom software development to modernize siloed, legacy applications using modular design standards.

The team works closely with clients and other contractors to ensure the performance and reliability of public-facing, mission-critical applications.

Essential Job Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with others to define and implement optimal, complete solutions based on stakeholder needs.
• Design backend and frontend web-based software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
• Analyze and design databases within a solution stack, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
• Apply and generate best practices in multiple technical domains using various technology products and services.
• Capture and share best practice knowledge with the internal technical teams. Technologies you will use :
• ASP.NET MVC / Web API, ASP.NET Core MVC / Web API, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React

Required Skills & Experience :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline
• 9 + years of software engineering experience
• 5 + years of experience with :
• Developing backend software using the C# programming language
• Developing frontend software using HTML / JS / CSS and Razor
• Building web applications using technologies including Microsoft ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core MVC, ASP.NET Web API, ASP.NET Core Web API
• 3 + years experience with .NET Core (or .NET 5+)
• 3 + years experience with dependency injection
• Designing and developing REST APIs
• ORM technologies such as Microsoft's Entity Framework
• SQL database modeling and query optimization
• Understanding development design patterns and when to apply them
• Writing unit tests Big Bonus Points if you have :
• 9 + years experience with the above technologies
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks especially React
• Proficiency with JIRA
• Experience implementing security best practices
• Experience analyzing application performance bottlenecks and developing optimizations
• Experience with Python and Typescript
• Excellent communication skills
• Continuous learning mindset

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $70.00 - $75.00 per hour. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
