Arisa Health is seeking a Patient Care Assistant in our Springdale location. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the healthcare field, medical terminology, and EHRs.
The Patient Care Assistant should have exceptional customer service skills, phone etiquette and typing / keyboarding skills and also the ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely client flow.
You will make an impact by
As the Patient Care Assistant, you will act as the bridge between our clients and their medication prescriber. You will be trained in excellent communication skills while assisting clients with the ability to have their prescriptions filled and managed, as well as assisting with medication questions to the prescriber.
There are not requirements to bathe, attend to toileting needs, or any other types of personal care needs. There are no needs to work evenings, weekends, or holidays, and no need to be worried about having to stay late to cover for the next shift caregiver.
We need your compassion for others and to provide clients with mental health needs a dependable and reliable voice with providers should there be assistance needed.
You will impress us if you have
- Prior CNA or PCA experience.
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Good attendance history with prior employers
We do require that you have :
- A high school diploma or GED
- A passion for helping people
- The ability to work independently but also as a team player
