Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Guard to join our team for part time and flex guard positions. We have a part time schedule that facilitates flexible hours based on the clients total time requested, which are generally 12 hour shifts for AM / PM opportunities.

This offers the opportunity to claim a morning or evening part time post with our company for a 7 day per week contract, as well as the ability to bid for on call or emergency shifts available in our working schedule.

As an Armed Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients. Your primary duty will be to protect property, assets, and individuals from potential threats, as well as maintain proper access control and perimeter security through patrolled operations.

Role and Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

• Maintain a high level of alertness and awareness at all times.
• Enforce security policies and procedures.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Monitor the entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
• Maintain records of activities and incidents.
• Carry out searches of personnel, vehicles, and buildings as necessary.
• Check in hourly or as requested via guard reporting software.
• Respond to digital office alerts regarding staffing and HR changes through the companies enterprise applications.

Security Officer Skills :

• Must possess a valid TX PSB LVL 2 License.
• Must be able to stand for 6 hours.
• Must be able to lift to 25lbs.
• Basic computer skills
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Excellent sense of judgment
• Can stay alert at all times

Supervisory Responsibilities

Security officer may be asked to coordinate with offsite management or security operations centers upon arrival, incident, or departure of assigned locations.

Required Qualifications and Education Requirements

• TX PSB LVL 2
• TX PSB LVL 3

Preferred Qualification and Education :

• 1 year previous security or LE / Military experience
• CCW permit
• AHA BLS / CPR Certification

Work authorization / security clearance requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must be English Fluent
• Must have valid Drivers License and means to commute

Physical Demands / Work Environment Be able to stand and walk for a minimum of 6-8 hours.
