We have several local schools that are seeking multiple Instructional Classroom Assistant's to provide service in a classroom in the Fallriver, Mass and surrounding area.
Under the direction of a teacher, you are responsible for assisting in organizing and implementing an instructional, academic program for student(s).
SUMMARY OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
- Assist the teacher with the design and implementation of the academic program based on the assessed needs of students.
- Providing academic assistance and support for individual and / or small groups of students
- Assist student(s) with the carry-over of learned behaviors and skills, including the use of assistive technology, throughout the day.
- Assist the teacher(s) with establishing and maintaining open lines of communication with students and their parents concerning academic and behavioral progress of assigned student(s).
- Full-Time Shift - School Hours - up to $22 an hour / depending on experiance / . education
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
In classroom experience working with children with Special Needs. If you do not have this experience, you would not be eligible for this opportunity.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Candidates interested in this role also usually have experience or interest in other roles including : Teacher's Assistant, Teacher Aide, Paraprofessional, Instructional Aide.
