- DTC / Ecommerce client within the CPG (food+bev) space
- On-site role in the Austin Texas area (4 days / week in office)
Position Overview :
We are looking for an Ecommerce Manager with 4-6 years of experience managing large-scale e-commerce platforms, specifically Shopify , to lead our online business operations.
The ideal candidate has experience in ecommerce and / or DTC businesses with over $50M in annual revenue, is data-driven, and excels in optimizing online sales, user experience, and performance marketing.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and customer experience to scale and enhance our ecommerce strategy.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our ecommerce platform on Shopify, ensuring seamless online shopping experiences.
- Manage and optimize the Shopify platform for mobile responsiveness, site speed, and usability.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and affiliate programs.
- Leverage data analytics to track KPIs, generate insights, and optimize the ecommerce funnel (traffic, conversion, average order value, etc.).
- Ensure effective integration with inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer service systems.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase online sales and conversion rates, including optimization of user experience (UX), site performance, and digital merchandising.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in ecommerce and CPG sectors.
- Work closely with product development and marketing teams to execute product launches and promotions on the website.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and technology partners.
- Conduct regular competitive analyses to ensure the company remains a leader in ecommerce within the CPG space.
Qualifications :
- 4-6+ years of experience managing ecommerce platforms, specifically Shopify.
- Proven experience in managing ecommerce businesses with over $50M in annual revenue.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce best practices, digital marketing strategies, and UX optimization.
- Proficiency in ecommerce analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track performance and provide actionable insights.
- Experience in scaling ecommerce operations, including A / B testing, CRO, and platform optimization.
- Familiarity with ecommerce integration and fulfillment systems.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
