Job Details
General Summary :
Responsible for supporting strategic growth initiatives and investor relations teams. May develop financial models to support analysis of internal initiatives, including the evaluation of potential acquisitions and / or strategic partnerships.
Resposibilties :
- Conduct market research and assist with preparing presentations on potential initiatives
- Complete a project in both corporate strategy and strategic initiatives to present at end of internship.
- Assist in development and maintenance of complex / detailed financial and valuation models to support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
Excellent writing and communication skills, with a strong interest in financial markets and business strategy
Working understanding of financial statement analysis and corporate finance
High degree of competence with Excel, with a demonstrated ability to create financial models
PowerPoint proficiency
Excellent planning and organizational skills
High level of attention to detail
Highly articulate and ability to reason in a compelling manner
Deals well with ambiguity
Results-driven and persistent
Unimpeachable attitude
Expereince :
Current rising senior or incoming grad student studying finance, economics, or similar field
Prior finance internship experience or project work strongly preferred
