We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Mechanical Contractor's Quality Control (QC) Technician to join our dynamic team.
The QC Technician will play a critical role in ensuring that our mechanical construction projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities :
1. Quality Control Oversight :
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of mechanical installations to identify and address quality issues promptly.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to establish and monitor quality objectives.
2. Document Management :
- Maintain comprehensive records of all quality control activities, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans.
- Ensure that all project documentation related to quality control is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to project stakeholders.
3. Training and Education :
- Provide training and guidance to project personnel on quality control processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
4. Supplier and Subcontractor Coordination :
Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that materials and equipment meet specified quality standards.
5. Client Engagement :
Interface with clients to address quality-related concerns, answer questions, and provide updates on quality control initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical contracting with a focus on quality control.
- Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ASME, NFPA, IPC / IMC, TAS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
- Experience in semiconductor and / or pharmaceutical industries is a plus.
- Experience inspecting welds (with or without certification) is a plus.
