The Controller is responsible for overseeing the finance teams and managing critical financial and accounting functions to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial reporting.

What will I do in the role of Controller?
Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, costs accounting, and general ledger with precision, timeliness, and accuracy for both subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with parent company accounting standards.
Ensure compliance with federal, state and local tax laws, including laws related to Medicare billing.
Supervise payroll administration to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accurate maintenance of payroll records.
Serve as back-up to payroll as needed.
Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure that the organization’s internal control procedures and accounting policies are followed to safeguard its assets and properly record its transactions.
What do I need in the role of Controller?
BS or BA degree in Accounting required. CPA license preferred.
Minimum of five years as a Controller or similar role.
Experience in long-term care preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial software and reporting tools required.
Ability to travel (20%) to the Lancaster, PA area.
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communication skills.
